Race time prediction vs event predicted finish time

Something has happened to the predicted finish time for an event I’m due to run in 3 weeks compared with the standard finish times predicted according to vo2.

The graph for the event fell off a cliff a week ago and is now flatlining and is approx 3 minutes quicker than the vo2 estimated race times. Anyone else seen this before, doesn’t seem to move at all according to any training I’m doing.

I have also been puzzled by something similar

- VO2max 5k prediction is 90 seconds faster than the specific race prediction widget for my upcoming (flat, road) 5k

-race predictor widget had a sudden step-change from agreeing with the VO2 value to being slower about a month ago, nothing changed in the VO2 estimate nor in my training/performance in "real life"

I assume they changed the algorithm in some update? But only the algo for the race predictor and not the VO2 based predictor?
