media error trying to download podcast/audiobook

Ive just bought a forerunner255s, its taken me all morning to get spotify to work on it and now every time i try and download a podcast or my audiobook, it comes up with 'Media error'

So far i'm unimpressed. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling spotify, theres hardly anything else on the watch so its not a memory issue.....has anyone any ideas that I can try?

I just worked out that if you make your audio book a new and separate play list in the Spotify app that enables you play that under play lists on your garmin.

In the audio book where you have downloaded…

I just worked out that if you make your audio book a new and separate play list in the Spotify app that enables you play that under play lists on your garmin.

In the audio book where you have downloaded it there is three vertical shots select that then select add to play list, save it as the title of the book. Then on your garmin select the add playlists, not under podcasts. You should see it there

It worked to me, I created a playlist on Spotify to save the podcasts I want to listen to while running and now the error was fixed. THANK YOU

That worked for me too. Great tip! It seems like a hassle, and I wish they would fix the podcast bug, but it's actually easier to maintain a playlist of podcasts than add/delete individually from your Garmin.
