"Good news - new watch features" email

Did any other UK forumites receive an email off Garmin yesterday titled "Good news - new watch features"? it goes on to say:

"NEW FEATURES FOR YOUR RUNNING WATCH The Forerunner^® 255 series is getting an update. That means all-new features packed with the latest technology to keep you and your smartwatch in top form."

Just wondering whether it's talking about the 15.19 update that dropped in May, or whether there's a new software rollout imminent. Any thoughts or insight?

Got it yesterday in Germany. Yes, the mail comes a little late, all the features come with 15.19, 2 months ago. The new marketing department is not that fast yet

The new beta 16.09 is _very_ buggy. Don't install it.

And some new interesting "features" - no CIQ Datafields, no external HR stripe in HIIT, wrong time notifications on suggested workouts. Seems really bad to me.

Thanks, both. So DCR was talking about the 16.09 beta, and the "what's new" in his article matches with the list on the email, in which case (presumably) 16.09 is out of beta and due for rollout imminently. Fingers crossed that they have fixed the bugs then.

I made a mistake. Never occurred to me that the mailing would refer to something that happened ages ago!
