I am a new user and have a question regarding pool lap sessions.
Using my fitbit watch, it automatically senses when I am swimming and records the metrics while in the water.
With the Garmin 255, the instructions state I have to select 'Swim', then 'Start', then 'Stop' each time. This is a big hassle and I might forget to select 'Stop'.
This watch seems quite sophisticated, yet why can't it automatically detect and record pool sessions?
Do I have this wrong and there is such a setting?
