This seems a new feature. Has anyone used it? I see it in 255/955, Fenix 7, and upward.
In the Calendar, enter a "Race Event," pick some variables like
- Goal Race Time
- Race Date
- Day of the week for long runs
- Number of days able to train, etc.
It seems it will then give an adaptive structured plan to meet the Race Event goal. The Training Plan is visible, and it give daily workout suggestions toward a "Primary Event" It seems to mix in VO2 max measurements, and workout times to adapt and lead toward the goal.
My 745 doesn't have this, so I'm considering upgrading to the x55 Forerunners or higher.
Anyone used this to prepare for a race?
