Question for the hiking

Hello,

Could someone give me feedback on the hiking function, power to move without the phone network just in gpx

if the cursor moves on its own on the watch screen

I'm not sure I understand your question. But, I'll try to answer.

The built in navigation maps in the FR255 generally keep the arrow that represents your position in the middle of the screen and moves the breadcrumb trail or course line around as needed. I think you can change a setting for whether the top (12th hour) direction represents your direction of travel or the compass north direction.
