My 255 updated to 14.17 a day or so ago and shows that as the version on the device. The (latest) Garmin Connect app on my iPhone still says that the watch is running 14.15.
As far as I know this is entirely cosmetic, but reporting in case it’s an unreported bug. Hardly high priority.
