Fr255 force firmware update

Hello, a few days ago i bought my first garmin watch. I had noticed that my device is still working on firmware ver 13.xx. I enabled auto update yesterday afternoon but until now I didnt have a notification about new version... how to enable force updating?

    The watch updates automatically when connected to Garmin Connect. It should suffice to wait a day or two.

    If you want immediate update, use Garmin Express and connect the watch to the computer.

    I you have the music version, you can also ask for an update in the system menu directly on the watch, by Wifi.

    I have wifi in-built but in setting of watch i saw the same option like on the garmin android app. I mean slider to enable and disable auto-update. nothing more...

    Just connect to Express.

    Right under this slider I have System / Software Update / Check for Updates. 
    This will update the system if there is an update available.

    So, I just now plugged in my device to Express first time. The software says, that my device is updated, but firmware has ver. 13.23

    Random notes for household w/ 2 FR 255's:

    Short: in. re. "Force firmware update" - suggest PC USB cord to watch after downloading Garmin Express on PC...follow web instructions, yet if our 2 watch experience is indicative, expect inaccurate status of success or lack there of on Garmin connect app on PC and iphones. 

    Longer:

    -wonky user interface for 4.15 firmware update.

    -Expect faulty communications of status of 4.15 firmware (United States user).  Over Several weeks troubleshooting 2 - 255 watches consistent roadblocks:  PC Garmin Connect under device info and notifications, iPhones Garmin Connect App and Watches did NOT show same updated status of 4.15 firmware update.   

    -Expected use of iPhone Garmin Connect app never allowed or delivered firmware update though PC status said available.  thus...resorted to manual push from Garmin Express PC connection, very slow transfer/install with install sticking on both watches at 95% but eventualy installing the 4.15 update on the watch.
