different software version indicated in the watch different in the application

the watch got an update now shows the number 14.15. in the Garmin connect application there is still the version after the update I turned off and turned on the watch turned off and turned on the application later the phone cleared the application cache. which indication is true?

This happened to me on one of the earlier FW version , eventually GC showed it correctly. I would say the watch is correct.

Try and un-pair then completely delete the GC app and reinstall and re-pair it?
