FR 255 doesn't sync activities to phone, only via Garmin Express

Hi, 

my new FR 255 doesn't sync activities to my phone. The rest of the data is transfered fine (I see spikes in heart rate and steps during my runs), but the run is never registered by the app. The activity only appears after I connect the watch to my computer via Garmin Express.

I have tried everything -- unpairing the watch, logging out, resetting the network, both soft and hard reset (factory settings), turning off and on the option to upload data from the watch, uninstalling the app and deleting the data...

Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

    In previous firmware versions, yes. Recently, no.

    Same problem with my wife's 255S Music. Some activities sync fine, but randomly some won't never sync.

    I have the same problem. The watch sync some activities and other remains "IQ activity". This is a headache.

    i have the same problem 255s. i need to connect to express every time in order to see my last activity on the app and the website which is a headache

    On my 255 (firmware 14.20) synchronization of activities with Garmin Connect also does not work

    For me, it stopped working today. (FR255 Music, software version 15.19, later updated to 16.12)

    a lot of bugs its frustrating, mine worked fine today and synced with the app without using Garmin express.
