Backlight Settings - During Activity are still not respected, causing unnecessary battery drain.
Whenever I go into an activity (preloaded activity like Run/Bike, not downloaded ConnectIQ apps), no matter the time of day, via the start button, the backlight automatically comes on at 50% and stays on indefinitely. It is easy to miss the light staying on during the day, resulting in accelerated battery drain.
My backlight settings during activity are as follows:
Keys - Off
Alerts - Off
Gesture - Off
Timeout - No Timeout (I need this on no timeout for outdoor evening runs, I cannot be manually pressing the light button every minute to keep the backlight on)
Brightness - 50%
My general use backlight settings are as follows:
Keys - Off
Alerts - Off
Gesture - Off
Timeout - 15 Seconds
Brightness - 5%
I have previously submitted an official bug report for this with a video. Never had this issue on the 245.
Originally posted under 14.12 Bugs. I was encouraged to update to 14.13 and begin a new discussion in the main forum. None of the updates seem to fix this problem which I have been having since I purchased this watch.
