GF255 FW 13.21 Add ConnectIQ data field to an Device App (I added to the default Running, set as favorite). I have used https://apps.garmin.com/sv-SE/apps/7c83d402-4b68-4f0a-b167-7139788a19b3 and https://apps.garmin.com/sv-SE/apps/6a30651b-ca67-41a5-96dc-60634983fc93 Record an activity, save (discarding will not trigger this problem). Back two times to select device app again. Note: I do occasionally get watch resets at this point, no clear way to recreate. CIQ field is not started, see image Workaround: Back once more to get to watch screen, then App again

If you didn't already do so after the FW update , try the following:

Power down the watch holding the light button in until the watch shuts down completely itself.

Wait say 15 s then restart the watch

You dont loose the HRV data like this and many report it "resets" the watch in a sense after a FW update etc and can "fix" some issues.

Also some say doing it whilst watch is connected to Garmin Express is also useful.

If that doesn't help try remove the IQ field completely and reinstall it

Watch is reset manually (in addition to the spontaneous resets) many times since the upgrade to 13.21 a month ago. Will try when connected to express too ( I do not have much hope).

Removing and adding again works too, but it is easier to go back one step more thank to readd. The issue occurs also for newly added fields.
