Heartrate during activity

Hi

Today i had training on my trainer, i didn't start activity "indor ride" but i had on me my HR belt. In garmin connect from time i had training my max HR is a 130hr,average is arount 80hr. The data from my HR belt show that my HR average from my activity is 140, max 170. Why garmin don't record my HR properly during my activity? I know that i didn't started activity, but the my HR during these hour wasn't around 80, but 130.

  • And if you do one exercise twice, once measured with the "Yoga" activity, and once with the "Cardio" activity, the measured heart rate will be quite different. The watch has different measuring algorithms based on what it thinks you are doing. To get a reasonable measurement for indoor bicycling, use an indoor bicycling activity to measure it.
