Forerunner 255 Battery Life Accuracy issue

I just had my new forerunner 255 watch. I was testing with the battery life during one of my running when is said 2h left of running battery. After running for 6km about 45mins, the watch prompt me to switch to power saver mode. I choose no option. Immediately the watch turns off by itself! Therefore the estimated battery life on running is not accuracy. Can Garmin update the software on this issue?

Where did it say 2hr? ive only ever seen it display battery life in percentage terms?

Power Manager Settings

Hold UP, and select Power Manager.

Battery Saver: Turns off certain features to maximize battery life.
Battery Percentage: Displays remaining battery life as a percentage.
Battery Estimates: Displays remaining battery life as an estimated number of days or hours.

When you go in an activity if you go "up" button it should show the % and estimated life on the settings chosen, if you have activated that option in Power manager settings
