FR255 doesn't show 'Device Settings' Tab in Garmin Connect on laptop

When I plug my new FR255 in to Garmin Connect on my laptop (MBP) I can't see the 'device settings' tabs (or make any changes), but these still show up for my FR245 (pic1 below).

Am I doing something wrong (pic 2), do I need to change a setting...it's really frustrating.

No, it‘s the same for me.

But in the Garmin Connect APP you can change nearly every setting for the FR 255 and it is supposed to be synced real time.

I am not an active phone user, so I prefer to use the website on my laptop. Since that is not working, I end up changing everything directly on the watch.

I much prefer to make changes or edit settings via the computer. If I can still do it this way for my 245 surely there should be the same option available for the 255?

Maybe that is why in the web interface, they removed all of the settings, so that „the one and only“ place for changing settings is the app. I think, this is not a bug, but intentionally.

But on the Garmin Connect Android app, you are not able to edit watch/app settings for the 255, like you could for the 245. You now have to download a separate Connect IQ Store app to edit these settings.

Why are they forcing us to download multiple apps, and removing options from the web interface? Are we slowly heading in the direction of Apple?

I prefer the same. They should be adding more options to the web interface, instead of removing options.
