5 day battery life (NO music or GPS)

I've been getting battery life nowhere near the stated 14 days on my FR 255 Music (Software v12.27)

Yesterday at 2pm, I charged to 100%. Today at 2pm, my battery had decreased to exactly 80%.

SP02 is only turned on at night time. I didn't use GPS or listen to music.

Extrapolating, this means that my battery life is 5 days, where Garmin quotes 14.

How can I prove to Garmin that my battery is bad and initiate a swap?

Night time SPO2 readings is causing the battery drain. Best to switch it to on demand readings.

You can't. It's nonlinear. Have You transfer some music to the watch? WLAN eating much. As already been mentioned spo2 will eat ca. 8-10% per night. As to me - is really useless…

Not to be rude, but asking people to use a stock face is poor. Might as well buy $199 Coros Pace 2 in that case. If the drain is due to 3rd party watch faces, Garmin should fix it.

I fully agree.

Although, there may be some non-optimized watchfaces that cause higher battery drain, there is no reason for simple and optimized custom watchface from CIQ to use significantly more battery than stock watchface. When I moved to Garmin from another brand, that was one of my big surprises. What surprises me even more is that is considered normal. Just because it is happening currently, it does not mean it is normal and that it should not be rectified.
