Not sure if this was happening on 12.27 but when you manually enable Sleep Mode and enable the Sleep Mode watch face there is a bug when you go to change the watch face from the settings menu>appearance>watch face, you scroll down and it's the same sleep mode watchface all the way down instead of the watchfaces that are there when sleep mode is not enabled. When you go customize and start scrolling thru the data the watch freezes for a second and restarts.
