I unfortunately do not know exactly, but somewhere between 10 and 15g is my estimate when I put it in my hands.

Yes it is 30g max, I did double checked and scale it again. I barely use the original band since it's too heavy.
What's a good lighter alternative?
Are you kidding us? It is one of the lightest on market. New coros apex perhaps some gramms.
It's indeed light but when you can make it lighter why not, original one is 17 grams and the one which I use are 7 grams and more breathable better adjustable but not as reliable as the original one.
Any generic nylon quick release 22mm one would work, I bought Chinese one since the original one was very expensive.
