Preserve fitness data when migrating from watch

I am sending my Fenix 6X to Garmin for replacement due to a defect and I am purchasing a Forerunner 255 Music while I run out of Fenix.

I would like to know if it is possible to preserve my recorded data through Fenix (VO2, VFC, etc) and automatically transfer it to the 255.

I've never done this type of exchange with a current Garmin watch, doesn't Garmin Connect do this data transfer?

Make sure Physio True up is turned on then the majority of data should be OK. Except HRV but Im not sure that was on the Fenix 6X

Also read this as a backup if you want to be safe.

Thanks I'll try. Yes HRV is active on the 6X.
