Lactate Threshold Recorded on 255 but it is Not Updating in Garmin Connect

I understand there is a thread on 955 with this issue. But I am using 12.27 FW on 255.

Some Threshold data only pace was sync. Recently on 12.27 none at all i.e. both pace & BPM threshold not available.

Data is updated & available on watch.

I have tried clear all data & re-setup connect app. Unpair & repair watch. Does not work.

Replying the typical enquiries below.

  1. FR 255 Series watch is running 12.27 software.
  2. Android 12 on Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite (FW 13.0.2)

  • I'm having the same issue with 255m. A new LT HR and pace were auto-detected, but no updates showing in GC web or app. I noticed in the device settings that the LTHR was updated in the "Running Heart Rate" settings, but not in the general HR zone settings. I then copied the auto-detected LTHR from the "Running Heart Rate" settings to the regular LTHR, and am now seeing the new LTHR on the GC app/web, but not the pace.

Somewhat unrelated, but I wish I could permanently delete the Running Heart Rate (and just have one single set of zones), but it always seems to come back. Something to do with the auto HR detection I'm guessing.

  • All,

We have some reports from users on the current beta software that this disruption is no longer present since they installed the 14.12 beta software.  If anyone would like to install that software and report back here, we would welcome your feedback.

Enrolling in and Learning About Garmin Beta Software Program

We are expecting the same outcome with the14.13 production software as the (now out of date) 14.12 beta.

  • All,

We have released a fix in the latest production (non-beta) software release that should resolve the report for most users experiencing these symptoms.  The software release should continue rolling out to all users in the coming days.  If you are still experiencing symptoms like the original report here, please start a new thread.
