Feed firmware 12.27

Hi,

has anyone installed the new version 12.27?

Are you experiencing anomalies?

Thank you

  • I have had it since the beta came out and have had no problems at all.

  • So you don't have any of the bugs reported in version 12.23?

  • None that I have noticed...

  • Since I have a half marathon on Sunday, I didn't want to risk it. Then I do the update.
    Thank you

  • I still have the dashed line bug appearing sometimes.

  • I am still experiencing most of the bugs introduced in the 12.23 version, e.g. not refreshing ABC glance, lack of scrolling in a circle in widgets, graphical issues in the weather widget, and high battery drain when activity in auto GPS mode.

  • Yeah those too, except for the weather widget and the auto gps high battery drain ones.

  • Up until now —and I upgraded less than 10 days ago—, I had the watch restart once,  lose an hour of data once, have a small battery drain once, and finally detect wrong sleep duration three nights.

I don't know if it is the firmware, but never had any issue before (I got the watch end of August, no beta firmware) and loved it! Now I am afraid when the next data loss or inconsistency might happen. Disappointed

  • Hi, my Forerunner 255 was connected fine with my iPhone since beginning.

But 3 days ago Forerunner 255 software was updated and since then it is not able to connect to iPhone.

I tried restarting phone, restarting watch, removing device in app and pair phone from the watch but nothing helped.

The watch is not visible in the bluetooth list of devices. I tried both on iPhone and Android phone same issue.

Can you please help me to resolve this issue with bluetooth after software update of my Forerunner 255.

  • An update on this, whilst I noticed all these issues in the first 7-10 days of installing the new firmware, in the next two weeks the issues seem to have gone mostly away. No restarts, no lost data, battery usage might be a little higher than the previous firmware but not in an alarming percentage, and sleep detection misbehaved just once. I had quite a few activities in these two weeks (8-12 I'd guess), ranging from 20 minutes to an hour, some using my HRM Pro, some not.

A funny thing though, since I updated my HRV keeps falling. Not sure if it is a bug or me overtraining.
