Went on a walk , run , cooldown walk. Pace in the post save screen for the run was clearly wrong. Started to record my short walk home. I received a lap (set to 1km autolap) after a couple of hundred meters and distance covered showed as +1km. On inspection at home the maps have no anomalies.
Here are the screenshots from Connect's Daily Summary with the Strava panel to the right of each activity.
I tried redoing my HR entry data yesterday to sort out zones and TE stuff. It is now worse (or not depends how you look at it)in that at least now I have big orange bars and meaty red one from an easy run. As others have suggested these metrics are being likely based off some default age based valuevalue. You can see from that run my HRav was quite high for a 50 year old. My LT is approx 169 (actual tests which corresponds with watch autodetect pretty well when I wear a strap) and my max is about 188.
Please note this is not the login associated with my data. If any Garmin peeps want to see that, message me. Personally, the HR/TE/workout suggestion stuff I believe you should be investigating by pulling out all the users who have regular training activities who have shifted sideways as changes to firmware and backend might have been deployed rather than on a case by case basis (with a sprinkling of denial). Eg everyone with 40km plus a week whose load markedly increased yet the same mileage and pace windows. But, hey what do I know about this stuff...
