FR 255: Animated Workouts do not show while performing downloaded compatible workout

Yesterday I became happy Garmin FR255M user. (I'm not new to Garmin though - it's my 3rd watch. Previously I had FR230 followed by FR645M).

I'm trying to understand the new (to me) feature: animated workouts (available in Yoga, Cardio, Strength and Pilates). I've downloaded few training plans from Garmin Connect and uploaded them to my watch. When I open the training on my watch I can see the animations in the preview window, but they are NOT visible during workout. All I can see is training name, but the animation is missing. I have "Workout Videos" enable in the activity settings.

Am I doing anything wrong? Is there anything else I need to do? I read the manual, I watched few videos (I found only for Fenix and Venu, but I guess it should like similar)

Does the animation work for you during training in case of FR255?

I do have firmware version 12.23

I sent "Yoga for Cyclists" to my watch a month ago and i had this problem. I can see the animation before starting the workout, but during it was not shown.

- today i delete it from my watch

- i resent from Connect to watch

- animation is turned on for yoga

- i can see animation after chose the training in the preview

- during the workout there is no animation ( also checked if there is an animation page but i cant find)

So the issues remained for me, it just shows pose name, but no animation.

lonzek to formally submit this idea, please use the link below. At this time, I am unaware of any plans for this to include custom built workouts.

Works now for me too. I didn't even have to re load the work outs. Animations now work on my Forerunner 955 Solar.

Hey, deleting my yoga workouts on my watch and my phone then adding them back on and from the phone worked for me.

If you are still experiencing this disruption after deleting and re-adding your pre-made (not a custom built) workout, then syncing with Garmin Express, please let me know and confirm that I have permission to contact you and view your Garmin Connect account.
