HR is deeply inaccurate

HR seem to have stuck between 150-160 to all my efforts, from recovery to race.

Ran a HM race 4 days ago, HR for each Km split was between 150-160 @3:50 min/Km 6:14min/mile

Ran a recovery run today (my zone is below 140 for recovery) and my recorded HR on my 255 was 150-160 again.

Ran with Forerunner 45, AW, and both paired with Polar H10, and the results have been very similar with all combinations.

I’m not sure if it is a defective model or software bugs.

  • When you say "Ran with Forerunner 45, AW, and both paired with Polar H10, and the results have been very similar with all combinations" Similar to what you recorded above with the 255 or similar with each other and what do they reflect?

I assume this is with OHR on the 255?

  • I've also recently sometimes experiencde much higher heart rate reported from the watch compared to polar h10 (the watch has also reported higher heart rate compared to what it's been reporting historically)

  • Similar to each other (FR 45, FR 45 + H10, AW, AW + H10) but those HR data do not reflect the HR data on OHR on 255. Confusingly, when my 255 is not recording an activity, it is similar to FR 45 and AW, but when I'm cycling or running, it goes haywire.
