Better late than never. I still see outlier data in pace. The other bugs with reboots, battery drain and lines across the screen were not observed. It might be a good idea to do a few runs before passing judgment as the software may be using bad data from 12.23.
I'm a new Garmin user and seeing all this threads about the new update breaking everything and even the new beta update fixing only one little thing.
Wth?
Without mentioning the buttons physical issues (double press feeling/clingy noisd)..
I subscribed to the beta to get the update.
I also noticed the backlight set to 'sunset' activation isn't working. My watch screen turn on even during the day.
And for the sleep, it doesn't detect than I'm not sleeping. I set for example to 11pm and even if I stay awake till midnight, it will think I'm sleeping already. Not smart.
- Lactate info not works. It's not updated since I bougth the watch. I have activated auto detection.
- When I finish a run, if I have activated "maximum heart rate" auto detection, my zones updates with errors (Z1: 1% to 2%, Z2: 2% to100%...). Because of this, my daily minutes of intensity are very high.
- Sometimes, the problem with the lines accross the screen keeps happening. In my cases, while I'm running. The line appear under info grid.
