Wow, buttons are really bad

Hi,

since the other thread is locked I am starting this here. I dont get how the buttons can be that bad on such a device. The Up button is partly stuck and only after a couple of presses it starts to react rather ok. The Start/Stop buttons feels absolutely loose like it even does have some movement. I dont get it.
I am not picky about that in general as my FR55 has very bad buttons, but it is less than half the price of the 255. These buttons here make the 255 feel so cheap and fragile.

I have returned the device, really disappointed.

I agree that eh buttons are bad. There are many posts also in other forums about bad buttons in different Garmin watches. The buttons on my forerunner 255 are also very bad quality, none of the buttons…

Cool, but that sounds like you got a bad device.

I have zero problems with my buttons.

They do feel pretty cheap imo

I've had 235, 245 and now 255. 255 feels the best imo.

They do have a really loud click that doesn’t sound refined, but these in my 255s are all behaving the same, they’re in no way mushy (like 935 or 245), and they haven’t changed a bit since release.
