Not sure if it's coincidence or directly related: running my standard 5k lap today after getting the 12.23 update resulted in a ~20% shorter track today (4,34 km instead of 5,x km), with all stats skewed accordingly. Noticed this already during the run as the average pace reading seemed to by unexpected low.
My running partner's FR45 captured the round as usual today without issues. Activity settings where the same as before on my FR255 (GPS multiple systems). Never had such an issue with the FR255 before, using the beta and previous release firmware.
Comparing the activities in Garmin Connect is really strange. I would have expected a gap with missing data, but instead the entire track is just shortened on the distance scale reading -- while looking fine on the map and the time scale. See screenshot of height profile -- it looks just squished.
