Does 255 Music battery drain slower if simply connected to bluetooth headphones for splits/laps audio and not listening music?

Hi - I am a planning to get a 255 Music but worried around battery life.

Does anyone know if the battery will drain much slower if I simply skip listening to music but only connect to headphones for run split/lap audio updates?

If the battery drains simply due to connection to bluetooth headphone irrespective of what type of audio gets transmitted, then I guess it doesn't matter if I listen to music or not.

Just trying to find a way to optimize battery because I am keen on the 255 Music more for its ability to let me not have to check the watch all the time during workouts and less hung-up on the music part.

Thanks for your help in advance !
