I have tried running using the heart rate alerts (both using a strap and without). The alerts seem very slow to react though. If I set the high alert to 140 for example, I commonly get up to about 142 or even more before the alert kicks in. Is this expected behavior? It is very annoying!
I previously used an ancient polar clock with a strap and it reacted immediately whenever the limit was crossed.
Also, it seems that the high alert and the low alert must be at least 10 bpm apart, so I can not have a high limit of for example 140 and a low limit of 134. Is this also expected behavior? Again very annoying...
Other than this I love the clock though, but I have to keep looking at the clock while running, to manually keep track of the HR, which kind of defeats the idea with the HR alerts in my opinion!
Best regards,
Mattias
