Multi-band GPS problems?

I am using multi band GPS with 1 second sampling and I am very underwhelmed by the GPS accuracy. It seems to be no better than my old 745. The GPS track still veers over to the wrong side of the road. This can't be right... I have seen videos of 955 data with the same chip where you can tell which lane of a 400m track is being run in! What are your experiences?

I have a Fenix 7 as well and I am not seeing much difference. I have seen lots of 955 owners say the same as the poster here.

I think people have unrealistic expectations due to it being to a minor incremental…

I find it no better but no worse than my Fenix 6 Pro

When I have worn both at the same time, it is usually impossible to tell which track comes from.which watch.

I disable Multiband now.

There is no 'problem' apart from some people hyping minor differences as large differences.

I think people have unrealistic expectations due to it being to a minor incremental improvement. People still complain about tracks being on the wrong side of the road as people always have.

If you read 5krunners 955 review he recommends not using multiband IIRC.

In DCRainmakers reviews multiband was not enabled due to a firmware update on the 255 (it is disabled after an update) and there was barely any difference to the 955 tracks where it WAS enabled.

If DC Rainmaker is correct, Sat IQ will be coming to the 255...then you won't have to choose accuracy v battery in advance of workout.
