Hi, I know how to access when not in an activity, but not during. The notifications are coming through, but I can't find the notifications if I don't react instantly.
I had a look on Garmin site but can't see this.
Thanks in advance

I wrote it more clearly below as I missed a step,
it is the up button > the setting cog > appearance > watch face. Then press back twice.
Hopefully you can find it under the appearance tab …
I had to press the middle button and then Settings, watchface, then back out off this. It puts me back on the watch face.
This is actually so much simpler and I can't believe I never tried…
They definitely don't want people to know since they purposefully make the FR255 worse through software. Tell someone that "hotkey" is a premium feature and they will laugh at you. That's crippleware and…
Hi all, I have the new 255 music.
If you follow the link this shows you how to connect your phone and watch.
https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/GUID-676967A0-1B23-4384-9BC9-76F3D643F1C8/EN-US/GUID-599D739A-21A7-4EF2-98F4-29258D407B47.html
Set your watch during activity to receive calls and text etc, then go to general use settings and change timeout setting to Long.
Now when you get a text or a call during an activity press the down button to read the message or to open the screen so you can answer the call. When on this page the start button can be used as normal.
Cheers
It worked for me. 255 does have the "Go to Watchface" option. I tried at home. Timer kept running. I checked on the street during activity and it doesn't keep tracking activity with GPS.
I suggest if you really have to access messages or whatever out of the activities, you'd better pausing your activity first.
In 245 I used to keep Lap button disable. It was a hotkey to access main screen and keeping activity running.
But it doesn't work in 255.
