What does the temperature on a running activity refer to? It isn't the local weather, is it my skin temperature?

I recently upgraded from FR 245 to FR 255 and am very happy with the additional features. One of them is the temperature chart shown above. Is it my skin temp? The weather is much cooler than this when I run in the morning.

Yes, it is the temperature sensed by the watch itself...typically closely corresponds to skin temp.

If you have a Tempe sensor paired and connected, it will be the temperature that sees. I have a s-biner clip attached to mine so I can hook it someplace out of direct sun. In that case it will be the ambient temperature
