Survey for Forerunner 255 reboot issues.

Hello to all!

I also had the bad surprise like others with the Forerunner 255 (Firmware 10.10) that it doesn't turn back on after turning it off. I see that many here have the 255, and I wanted to know if this problem is on all 255? I don't think so because there would be a lot of messages of frustration !! ^^
For information I have a Forerunner 255 Music, I do not know if the fact that it is Music changes anything or not.
I'm getting a new FR255 from my vendor, so I wanted to know if I'll have the same problem on the new one? Or was I just unlucky, and that it's still a one-off.

    It seems that some people managed to have it completely discharged and that the battery logo came back after a few times and that they did not have the problem anymore. But I don't have any more feedback on that.
    In my case I got a new FR255M from my vendor, I upgraded it to 10.10, but I don't dare reboot it at all before the next update. So I'm taking to make sure there isn't a bug that makes the watch restart or something.
    I think it's pretty crazy that there is no communication from Garmin on the subject, it penalizes many users who find themselves without a watch. We're not just talking about a minor bug that affects certain functions... But what is Garmin doing about a new update?

    After the screen went black I'd say a full 2 minutes. I was in the field at the time it happened and didn't have access to the internet, so I tried long pressing buttons and random button presses. Then it just came on.

    Yes when it happened to me, until I sent the watch back, it didn't turn back on, yet I waited at least 4 or 5 days, even pressing the buttons, nothing changed.
    So with the new one I'm taking the precaution of not restarting it, hoping that the next update will fix the problem!

    I sent back my first two fr 255 music because of the boot error. The third fr 255 now boots properly even after a turn off.
