Survey for Forerunner 255 reboot issues.

Hello to all!

I also had the bad surprise like others with the Forerunner 255 (Firmware 10.10) that it doesn't turn back on after turning it off. I see that many here have the 255, and I wanted to know if this problem is on all 255? I don't think so because there would be a lot of messages of frustration !! ^^
For information I have a Forerunner 255 Music, I do not know if the fact that it is Music changes anything or not.
I'm getting a new FR255 from my vendor, so I wanted to know if I'll have the same problem on the new one? Or was I just unlucky, and that it's still a one-off.

I have a FR255, non-music, which is my second one, and neither has had this issue with fw10.10

No, I replaced it because of a mushy, less responsive back button

No issue. 255 Music. I've done the reset (hold Light button for 25 secs to turn off, then 1 sec to turn back on). No data lost either.

I got the same issue.

I just bought a Garmin Forerunner® 255 Music yesterday (10/07/2022)
After the initial setup, software has been updated to version 10.10 via Garmin Connect.

Now, the Forerunner® 255 Music doesn't turn back on after turning it off.

I've got the non music version and I've turned it off / on without issue. I tried this when I got it and just turned it off and back on there. No issue

FR255s Music. No issues.

(BTW I don’t use any Connect IQ apps. Never had a newly released Garmin watch as stable as this one.)

FR255 Music with fw10.10 and mine really really didn't not want to power back on after reboot. Perhaps the watch is still powering down long after the screen goes black. Not sure.

FR255 Music with fw10.10 and I was super worried with would not power back on after I rebooted it because it would not find my (previously paired) earbuds. It came back long long after the screen went black after power down.
