Vibration Alert = Weak Tofu

Previous device was a Forerunner 245 Music that had enough force to wake you up if you were asleep, the 255 Music is meek comparably. I hope Garmin notches this up a few or at least give us the option in settings to select a level we prefer.

Great watch so far though! Love the new size and maybe it's bias but the Music sounds better (same IEMs) than the older 245.

Agree 100%. I think I slept through my first alarm on the 255S (set to vibrate). Almost makes more noise than actual vibration. I guess that’s one of the downsides of such a lightweight watch. I’m not sure making the motor spin faster would even help since it feels so light. Maybe a different vibration pattern?

Right? When I first used it I lost confidence immediately, like, this ain't gonna cut it. I use my vibrate alarm every morning. Wearing both watches side by side my 245 has significantly more rastaman vibration than the 255 for sure and its lighter by a tad over 10g. Oh well...

Still hoping for the option to set vibration intensity.

Not any more.

But I'd not describe it as weak - actually I find it a bit much, like an angry wasp.
