FR 255S vibration is switched off but watch still vibrates when showing performance condition

After running for 1K, my watch vibrates and plays a sound when showing the performance condition. I think this is very annoying and switched off all vibration alerts wherever possible. Also the general vibration / sounds have been turned off. The watch keeps on alerting me. Can anyone help me with this?

Same issue with my FR255 Music (v14.20). Vibration set to Off, but watch still vibrates, when showing Performance Condition during an activity.

I got feedback from Garmin that they will correct this in a next update. This was 9 months ago, nothing has happened. Why offer the option to switch alerts off if this does not work? It is a bug in the software. Garmin, please fix this. It is very, very annoying.
