I just got back from my first run with the Forerunner 255 Music. I was enjoying everything about the watch, until I actually started a run. When you start the run activity, and before every pace announcement, and every time you hit "pause" or "resume" the watch transmits a squeal in the headphones just like someone brought a microphone too close to a too loud loudspeaker. Is there a way to keep the distance/pace alerts without the obnoxious squealing noise? Who at Garmin thought watch users would want to hear screeching feedback in their headphones every mile?
