BUG: Executing a Cycling Daily Workout still shows an executable Running Workout

Is is possible to do two Daily Recomended Workouts - example Cycling then Running.

This is changed hehaviour from previous watches were once a Daily Workout is executed you cannot do the other daily workout (doing both risks over training)

This is how Fenix 6 handles this scenario if you try to do both recommended workouts - cycling followed by run

 -

This screen shows up on the 255 after doing a Daily Recommended workout (cycling here)

but then going to the Run activity, the Run daily workout is still executable  - this should not happen if you already did the Daily Workout on another activity

  • Because the Daily Recommended Workout is designed to give you a targetted specific daily  training load - so 2.5 TE for base, 3.8 TE for threshold etc

So if you do both, then you exceed the daily recommended TE by 2x.

Once you've met the TE target (completed the first workout), the other recommended activity should be cleared and not executable.

The 255 behaviour is a bug, and it's broken.

  • Maybe the target for this day is 4 TE for base and the watch suggest 2.5 TE base running and 1.5 base cycling Slight smile

You always can ignore the other workout, so easy.

That's not really the point, is it?

It would be just as easy to ignore this thread if you you don't understand the problem.

  • Thought I'd bump this as we must be due a beta soon - this is pretty self explanatory....there seems to be no bug reporting channel

but the running recommendation is still there (unlike other watches where if you do cycling, the running recommendation is cleared)

other watches.. if you try to do cycling then try to do running or vice versa you get this...
