Hotkeys?

No - a big omission too for multisports IMHO as without a hotkey you can't do on the fly dynamic transisitions.

I wish reviewers would spend more time discussing things like this rather than writing 10 pages about whats in the box!

Any news here? I wanted to move from FR935 to FR255 but without hotkeys probably not. Is FR745 the better option?

Unfortunately we are still without hotkeys on 255. 955 has them though.

Is there any chance for adding this feature, or this is to much for the price?

It's just a software feature, but it most likely remain a feature differentiator between the 255 and 955. Kinda sucks since there is no 955s.

Of course no, this is an ultra premium feature that you have to pay three hundred dollars extra. This is not Apple, where the OS is the same whether it's on a 5 year old model or the latest one. Garmin is where people make money, not charity.

Exactly. Shame on Garmin. Hotkeys are not present, but bugs are though. Just because of this strategy ...

If you want to go to the watchface during activity you can make a workaround by pressing the middle button and choosing a watchface. Everything ok until you notice that during you have watchface displayed there is no GPS tracking.

Problem is that I had fenix and fr 955, but they do not match me in size and weight.

Now I never thought such a software price justification would hapoen on my 255 ...
