Forerunner 245 Music GPS Not working all updated

Hello,

My Garmin Forerunner 245 Music does not connect with GPS. My running activity is set with GPS + GALILEO and it’s not working. I tried everything I red in past threads about GPS issues (sync with connect, with express, sync with my wifi, restarted the watch, soft reset… everything.

CPE is on “current” and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I how I can get some help here

I did some digging and here is solution (it worked on my standard, no music 245).

1. Connect your watch to computer/laptop via USB

2. Navigate to D:\GARMIN\REMOTESW folder.

3. Find and delete "CPE.BIN" file…

I did some digging and here is solution (it worked on my standard, no music 245).

1. Connect your watch to computer/laptop via USB

2. Navigate to D:\GARMIN\REMOTESW folder.

3. Find and delete "CPE.BIN" file (I would highly recommend that you copy that file somewhere first in case that fix does not work).

4. Restart your watch and test it.

In my case, acquiring GPS signal take no more than 30s and at times as few as 10s.
