My apologies as I realise this is no doubt pretty basic, but I’ve tried to find an explanation online w/out any luck.

What is ASC please?

You’re right, it’s about elevation

I was puzzled because my stats showed 6 metres of ASC (ascent) but I had been running around the perimeter of a flat playing field

Thanks for responding. I’ve since learnt it’s about elevation. I was puzzled initially because I’d been running around a flat soccer field.
