Forerunner 245 keeps updating

My Forerunner 245 keeps giving a notification that there is an update available. After applying the update the watch keep notifying that there is an update available.

Current software version is 9.00 and after the update process the watch mentions "ANT+ software was updated"

I tried the following things:

- Reboot the watch

- Reset watch to factory settings

- Sync watch via Garmin Connect on Android phone / Macbook

But the update notification keeps coming. Anyone suggestions on how to fix this ?

That is only the beginning. Then everything starts to fail. And Garmin is not responsible. So far my relationship with them. Already looking at other brands

Quick update: Isabella contacted me and requested couple of informations and data from the watch. Since then I am still waiting for an solution. My watch is still rebooting every couple of minutes. Even with autoupdate turned off. So the watch is useless with this bug..

I also had this problem with 9.60 yesterday. Watch updated 3 times. I restarted it, switched it off for a few minutes, turned it on again. All seems to be okay since then.

I experience the same issue with my Forerunner 245 Music on firmware 9.60

I have exactly the same issue. My battery life now drains in around 12 hours. I’ve tried rebooting the watch on several occasions with no success, and every time it reboots I lose data. The watch is barely usable now - hope Garmin fix this ASAP

hello Garmin team.

when can we expect any feedback from you? You are collecting data and mailadresses but don't report any updates.

As you can see several people have the same problem. It cannot be that our watches are useless just because Garmin decided that customers now are part of the beta testgroups.

I would appreciate an update from your side.

Garmin-Isabella do u have an update for us? Still the same problem and the Garmin support wants to have >130 Euro for an exchange of my 245 with an refurbished one. Even after a remark that the bug is a result coming out of an official Garmin Software update and therefore I'm the responsibility of Garmin.
