Forerunner 245 keeps updating

My Forerunner 245 keeps giving a notification that there is an update available. After applying the update the watch keep notifying that there is an update available.

Current software version is 9.00 and after the update process the watch mentions "ANT+ software was updated"

I tried the following things:

- Reboot the watch

- Reset watch to factory settings

- Sync watch via Garmin Connect on Android phone / Macbook

But the update notification keeps coming. Anyone suggestions on how to fix this ?

That is only the beginning. Then everything starts to fail. And Garmin is not responsible. So far my relationship with them. Already looking at other brands

Hello! When you mentioned syncing via Garmin Connect on the Macbook, did you go through Garmin Express? If not, can I have you try this?

Yes, used Garmin Express.

A few days back i was chatting with support and there seem to be more reports about this issue and should be resolved in a new software version.

For now i have disabled the auto update as a work around

Hello friends,

I have the same problem. It seems that the BT/ANT Update does not update. In the Menu under System-->Info the watch show that ANT/BLE/BT Version is 0.00. Did the support could resolve your problem?

What I tried: Soft reset; Factory reset; Installation of beta 9.56; uninstall and go back to Version 9.00.

I tried to update via Garmin Express. But as mentioned the watch keeps to notify that there is an update.

With the actual status the phone even does not connect to my android phone (Pixel 5); which it did for the last 3 years.
