Audio prompts now speaking in digits, not natural language as it used to. How to revert?

Similar to this question which got no response:

Where the prompt used to say 'lap twelve' it will now say, 'lap one two'

and

where the prompt used to say 'eleven thirty two', 'one one three two'.

How to change this back?

Hello, what version of software are you running on the watch? How long has this been going on? Have you attempted any resets to the watch?
