  • Ignore him. But yes he creates a really negative environment in this forum. Wish someone could just ban him.

  • Lactate threshold (645, are you still alive?), now i will take that over the sleep widget. ;)

  • Please give us the new sleep widget and i‘ll stick with Garmin devices for the rest of my running life. Slight smile

Your guys really need to stop with request and begging. We paid for this watch x amount of dollar for gps, hr and …. They gave us plenty of features for free since it came out yet your guys ask for even more. They need to differentiate between 945/745/645 because it’s different price range and it’s totally normal to get less

  • Totally agree, the 245 has had pacepro, track mode, trail run V02 and many other extras.  It was never sold or advertised with the sleep widget so stop expecting it to happen and if it does it's a bonus.  Like previously mentioned they have to differentiate their product lines.

On top of this for less than half the price of the 945 we get the same gps sensor/heart rate and 99% of the running features.

  • I believe the main concern for most users asking about the widget is the sleep tracking accuracy. I would be totally fine with not having the widget/insights and having it's backend algorithms. This would not be adding a new feature but fixing something that never worked properly for many of us.

About the rest of the new features I think they are absolutely great, this watch has motivated me to run much more than expected and the running daily suggestions are a great addition!

  • I'm sorry, what they gave us since the 245 got out?? Software updates that the hardware is capable is just good customer service. Look at Nvidia shield and see a good company does for the customer with good support. It's 745 and 945 that should get better features, not limit the 245.

Garmin updates to the 645 are a disgrace

Ban me because my opinion differs from you?

he creates a really negative environment in this forum.

I'll do my best to add ponies, balloons and rainbows to my next post just so you don't feel so blue when I disagree with you.

  • Don’t want to be marked as negative too, but does this actually enable the 245 to work with the PM5 on the C2 like was advertised on the last update that simply does not work?
