245 Music 6.20 Update Draining Battery

After updating my 245 Music to 6.20 the battery is draining like crazy.  I've never downloaded any app, watch faces, etc.  And I've tried googling to see try and find a solution.  I see I'm not the only person with this issue but I haven't found a resolution to this issue.  Does anyone know how to stop the battery draining so fast with the new update?

  • Same here.

  • Well as a follow up, I'm not sure this was the issue that impacted me.  Yesterday, I was driving to dinner and looked at the watch and noticed the watch face was blank.  I had charged it earlier this morning so was concerned the battery gave up early.  When I touched it to push buttons, I noticed that it was abnormally hot.  And taking it off showed the HRM was still going (the watch was on) but the screen was dead.  I managed to do the emergency power off with hold for 15 seconds.  Now it doesn't power on (but it no longer red hot so that's a plus).  Charging it doesn't change it's power off status; it just causes it to heat back up to abnormally hot (so no more of that).  I'll be contacting support tomorrow to see about some sort of warranty coverage.  I don't understand; the watch has been "babied" and I've had it for 6 months, 4 days.

  • I upgraded to the 245 music a couple of months ago from the 235. The 235 would have last me the best part of a week with fairly heavy use. This one needs charged every other day. In fact it is so bad I have had to give it a top up in the morning before work otherwise it might not have enough juice for a workout after work. I'm thinking there must be a fault. I've a few high draining things turned off to help with battery life.
