Software Version 5.50 - Forerunner 245 Series - Live

Clarification: For those of you who received 5.40 this update only includes the following:

- Addressed an issue that caused VO2 Max update and Training Status to not update

If you have not yet received Version 5.40, then the update will include the above, as well as everything that was previously in 5.40 which I have included below.

Update can be downloaded through Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile pending the rollout schedule.

- Fixed an issue that caused CIQ watch faces to display 0 calories.
- Added improvements to prevent dropped phone connection.
- Other minor improvements and bug fixes.
- Fix an iOS reconnection issue on some phones.

Cool, I'll walk around with Run app and see if it says anything. If not, I'll reset the device and set it up again. I'll update after my test. Thanks!

I can confirm that, same problem here. running regulary but still no status. really disapointed that the watch is now much less of a watch that when i've bought it.

Every time i complete a workout and hit save, the watch restarts itself. The workout is saved but all daily stats like sleep, body battery, steps, etc. are not loaded to Garmin Connect. This has never occurred with previous software versions.

Are you 5.50 as well? Then probably it's just a minority of us seeing this issue. I reset my watch and I'll run tomorrow. I'm not overtly optimistic about it calculation performance condition and VO2 max. Just a fool's hope

Same here. Previously battery used to last 4-5 days with me being active almost daily. Nowadays due to bad weather I‘m barely active and not using GPS feature at all and battery lasts only 2 days. It starts discharging almost immediately after disconnecting from the cable.
Garmin - please have it sorted. Prior to last update it has never been an issue for me. Cheers

Hi, did you find any solution?

Had the same issue, did the same, still no light. Still on warranty so I sent it to Garmin service, no news yet.

Very dissapointed so far.

I software-reset my watch and performance condition, vo2 max, and pulse ox are working as intended. I changed the name of the watch, to carry over any artifacts from previous configuration of watch. I don't seem to have terrible battery life.

Synchronisation is only working for activity, all daily stats are available on the forerunner but not on the app
