Forerunner 245 HRM stopped working. No green lights on the back. I'm using software version 4.40. Watch is 4 weeks old! Any ideas?

Any ideas how i get the HRM working again on my forerunner 245 music. Just stopped yesterday. No green lights on the back. Software version 4.40?

All, please see the main thread Optical HRM / Pulse oximeter / step count not working . BMX, WHR, Sensor hub 0.0.0 ? for a resolution.

Did you try a proper synchronisation with Garmin Express? And as last resort a hard reset (if soft reset does not work either)

maybe you simply disabled it?

1) From the heart rate widget, hold UP.

2) Select Options > Status > Off.

Hi. Thanks but I’ve checked that and it’s on. The pulse Ox also says the software needs updating??

I;m having the same issue with my forerunner 245, bought it a week ago and now the hr, pulse ox and steps aren't working. My pulse ox says software mismatch and i need to update it but i'm using the most recent software v12...
