Optical HRM / Pulse oximeter / step count not working . BMX, WHR, Sensor hub 0.0.0 ?

Hi,

Since 2 days the optical HRM on my 245 music stopped working. I suspect it was after an auto update. My step counter is also not working and my pulse oximeter is showing version mistmatch and asks me to update software though I am on the latest stable software update 11.60.

Any of the sensor lights are also not working.

This started happening after my watch battery had depleted to 0. Post that these issues have been happening.

I have reset the watch and tried to update the software. I have also toggled hrm on and off.

Can somebody help here. I presume its software / firmware issue

We have a fix for this in an upcoming SW update, and recently released Beta 12.01 which happens to include the fix. See Public Beta Version 12.01

I had the same problem this morning, a soft reset fixed it. Hold down top left until it turns off then turn back on.

We have other reports of this and are actively investigating. When we know more or have any updates to share, I'll be posting to this thread. Thank you in advance for your patience with us while we conduct this investigation.

For now, as a workaround, you can do the following:

On the watch, go to Menu > Wrist Heart Rate > Set to 'Off'.
Hard reset the watch:
- To perform a hard reset, press and hold the power button on the watch until the screen goes blank. Ignore the Controls menu and the assistance alert screen (if applicable). If your device is currently powered off and you cannot turn it on, simply hold down the power button for 60 seconds. Next, plug in your watch’s charging cable to a computer or UL certified wall plug and then attach the watch to the charging cable. This should prompt the watch to boot up normally. Once it has fully booted up, remove it from the charging cable.
Go back to the Wrist Heart Rate setting to change it back to 'Auto'.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I followed the steps suggested by you. How ever the result is still the same. The sensors on the back are still off and the about screen still displays

yes soft reset, hold top left until watch turns off after accident detection, then turn back on.

I am experiencing the same issue since the latest update of the samsung connect. Have been trying to do an upgrade of software to see if this changes, was able to do it for the WHR but not the sensor hub which is still in version 0.0. Is there any way to install a specific version of the sensor hub directly.
