Stop getting alerts about whatsapp messages

Everytime I get a whatsapp on my phone my watch buzzes. I want to get away from my phone nit be reminded on whatsapp messages. How do I stop this? Without losing features for running

It says right in that thread that the way to turn off he notification on the 245 is to turn off the notification on the phone. The OP and I both want to continue receiving notifications on our phones but…

You can indicate in the Connect App what apps can send messages to the watch.

Just Google: How Do I Control What Phone Notifications Display on a Garmin Device?

There is a manual for Garmin Connect App on the Garmin site.

There is no way to do it on iphone without impacting the notification center (i.e. notification on the iphone itself). When you turn off garmin, you will loose the small notification on iphone bar as well.

Or, you know better to do it? If you don't know, please don't simply ask us to google. We also know google.

I DID find a way to make the phone not buzz with WhatsApp and other app notifications, only texts and calls, but I don't remember where it was. This was an adequate solution for me.
